High Holy Days Cantor

Temple Beth El has been very fortunate to have Cantor Seeger serve as our Cantor for the High Holy Days each year since 2001.

We look forward to hearing her lovely and uplifting voice again this year.

Cantor Jennifer Seeger grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was inspired by her cantor, Barry Abelson of Temple Israel. In 2004, Cantor Seeger received a Bachelor of Music degree in music education and vocal performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She went on to receive a Masters degree in Sacred Music from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Jerusalem and New York. From 1998-2001 Jennifer served as cantor of Temple Israel in Omaha, Nebraska, before moving back to her home in Minneapolis. There she served Mount Zion Temple as the congregation's first co-cantor from 2001-2007. Jennifer is currently loving her new role as full-time, stay-at-home wife to Kevin and mom to 4 1/2 year old Charlie and 2 year old Meredith.
