Due to the small size of Knoxville's Jewish population, TBE does not sponsor a chapter of the National Federation of Tempe Youth. Instead we encourage teens to join the local B'nai B'rith Youth Organization. There they can connect with other Jewish high school students from throughout the area by joining Weinstein, the B'nai B'rith Girls chapter or Winick, the boys Chapter of AZA. For more information, contact the Jewish Community Center at 690-6343. BBYO is also the parent organizaation of Teen Connction for 5th -8th graders.

TEEN CONNECTION
BETTER THAN EVER!
Do you wish your child could have the opportunity to interact with a large number of other Jewish children? The answer is: The Teen Connection, and it's back again this upcoming school year! The Teen connection is Knoxville's only Youth Social Group for all JEWISH 5th thru 8th graders, even those not affiliated with the AJCC or congregations.
Created in 2008 to be a fun and safe place where the children can come together, no matter which school or congregation they attend or neighborhood they live in, Teen Connection gives our Jewish children a wonderful opportunity to socially interact with other Jewish kids in East TN. We are a purely social group and there is tremendous support in the community as each Jewish congregation in the area participates in Teen Connection.
We plan to have five fully chaperoned events this year, which will be on Sunday afternoons, from 12:45 till 3 pm. Teen Connection registration forms are available at the AJCC, Temple Beth El, Heska Amuna, or by sending an E-mail to the Teen Connection Advisor, Amy Rosenberg, at Rockybergs@tds.net. Annual membership dues are $18 (there may be some small incremental fees for specific events simply to cover the incremental cost).
