Introduction to Judaism Class  

Introduction to Judaism Class

The Introduction to Judaism Class, taught by Rabbi Alon Ferency, Rabbi Beth Schwartz, and others, will run on Thursdays, February 2nd through May 3, 2012. Classes will be held alternately at Heska Amuna Synagogue and Temple Beth El, starting at 7:00pm (exact locations forthcoming).

In an event that will touch generations, the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra and Oak Ridge's Sound Company will perform the East Tennessee premiere of the opera Brundibar by Hans Krasa. The opera was written for and first performed by the children of the Theresienstadt concentration camp in 1942.
